Job description

  • Producing threat assessments, intelligence reports and executive briefings.
  • Translating complex cyber threats into clear, actionable information for senior and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Monitoring intelligence sources and assessing threat actors, TTPs and IOCs.
  • Supporting incident response and working with security teams on appropriate mitigations.
  • Leading and developing a small team while helping to shape and improve the Threat Intelligence function.

Requirements

  • Strong Cyber Threat Intelligence / threat analysis experience.
  • Experience briefing senior or executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of cyber threats and the threat intelligence lifecycle.
  • Leadership, coaching or mentoring experience.
  • Backgrounds within law enforcement, government, defence or wider intelligence could also be highly relevant where combined with strong cyber knowledge.

Desirable:

  • Relevant industry qualifications and certifications (CPTIA, CRTIA, SANS FOR578).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as the MITRE ATT&CK matrix and/or Cyber Kill Chain.
  • A working knowledge of the following product sets are ideal: * CrowdStrike * Microsoft Suite * Orpheus
