Automation Test Developer

IDR is seeking a Senior Automation Test Developer. The role is based remotely in Eagan, Minnesota, within the Patient Platform Team at Mayo Clinic. This position involves performing manual and automated testing for mission-critical applications such as the Mayo Clinic App (Mobile) and Patient Online Services (Web). The role combines hands-on testing work with collaboration and technical support for off-shore testing teams, including tasks like staging data, provisioning VDI's, and listing IP addresses., * Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Maestro, or QTP/UFT.

• Design, implement, and maintain testing frameworks aligned with best practices, including data-driven and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.
• Collaborate with off-shore testing teams to resolve issues and align testing strategies, serving as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to release testing processes, including participating in activities outside of regular business hours (estimated 5%).

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software or test automation development, with demonstrated technical experience.
• Over 5 years of experience developing web and mobile test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Maestro, or QTP/UFT.
• Ability to develop and execute tests using Java, C#, Visual Basic, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, such as Azure, Jenkins, or GIT.
