Job description

This position is intended for a senior-level test engineer capable of independently owning feature validation activities from requirement analysis through test execution, issue resolution, and final signoff. The selected candidate is expected to contribute immediately with minimal onboarding or technical training., Lead development of feature design verification plans and validation strategies. Independently coordinate and execute test activities and report results Develop, maintain, and execute end-to-end feature test plans and technical specifications. Assess testing requirements and provide effort, timing, and resource estimates. Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and system integration issues in vehicle and bench environments. Drive issue resolution with System Engineers, D&R Engineers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams. Provide clear test status updates and technical recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Test and validate customer experiences across infotainment, connectivity, displays, climate, mobile apps, and driver assist systems. Support and develop test automation solutions using scripting and automated frameworks. Operate and maintain HIL systems, test benches, breadboards, and prototype vehicles. Mentor junior engineers and establish validation best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of automotive electrical hardware and software testing experience. 5+ years of design verification, system validation, and vehicle feature testing experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience with CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, Vehicle Spy, or equivalent tools. 3+ years of infotainment, connectivity, mobile application, or driver assistance feature testing experience. Proven ability to independently develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases from system requirements. Strong expertise in HIL, SIL, vehicle, and bench testing environments. Advanced knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS Diagnostics, TCP/IP, and automotive communication protocols. Experience leading root cause analysis and cross-functional issue resolution activities. Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as Python or CAPL. Hands-on experience with EV, connected vehicle, infotainment, and autonomous vehicle platforms. Ability to lead validation activities and mentor junior engineers. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills.
