Backend Developer

CI/CD pipelines AWS services Troubleshooting & Debugging java api testing microservices architecture nosql databases dynamodb spring boot framework

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services for customer care and survey platforms.
• Build scalable REST APIs and integrate with AWS services.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support system reliability.
• Work closely with team members to deliver high-quality software.

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, SQS, and Lambda.
• Experience building and supporting production APIs.
• Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying applications on Kubernetes or similar container platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills using logs and monitoring tools (Datadog or similar).
• Experience with automated testing and API testing tools such as Postman.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, gRPC, or Redis.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Go (Golang).
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.98/hour - $57.79/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
