Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Salesforce Developer to support enterprise-scale custom applications and assist in the modernization and deployment of a mission-critical child welfare information management system.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and system integrators to support existing custom Salesforce solutions, build new functional modules, participate in knowledge transfers, and drive development across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)., * Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components / Lightning Pages, and Visualforce.
- Drive full-stack development through all SDLC phases, from requirements verification and architecture design to coding, testing, release, and post-deployment maintenance.
- Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, CRUD operations, SOQL queries, and Salesforce platform configurations.
- Collaborate with system integrators to verify requirements, integrate multi-platform systems, and facilitate seamless operational knowledge transfer.
- Assist in modernizing legacy workflows by integrating enterprise web services, Windows services, and SOA/.NET components into cloud architectures.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements
- Overall Experience: 10+ years of professional full-stack software engineering and application architecture experience.
- Salesforce Expertise: 5+ years of dedicated Salesforce development experience with strong Apex OOP, Lightning development, and custom integration skills.
- Software Architecture: Demonstrated proficiency in software design patterns, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), and REST/SOAP web services.
- Additional Tech Stack: Solid background with .NET (C#), modern JavaScript frameworks, and relational databases (SQL).
- Delivery & Communication: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills; proven ability to self-direct and deliver complex technical initiatives independently.
Work Authorization & Compliance Requirements
- Local to Connecticut or within immediate commuting distance (required for hybrid on-site schedule and in-person interviews).
- Valid work authorization (H-1B candidates must have an approved I-140).
- Must be able to pass a standard comprehensive public-sector background investigation and drug screening prior to onboarding., * AGILE - Agile Development Methodology (Required 10 Years)

Benefits & conditions
- Job Type: Contract
- Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid - 1 day/week or 2 days every 2 weeks on-site; candidate must be local/commutable to Connecticut)
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (40 hours/week)
- Interview Process: Must be available for in-person interviews in Connecticut
