Syncade MES Performance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Syncade MES Performance Engineer to serve as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Emerson Syncade MES applications and related technologies. This role will focus on improving application performance, optimizing SQL Server databases, troubleshooting complex production issues, and driving operational excellence across MES environments., n

Strong hands-on experience with Emerson Syncade MES.

Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Administration and Development.

\n

Proven experience performance tuning and optimizing Syncade-based MES applications.

\n

Advanced SQL expertise, including, Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

\n

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

\n

Experience providing architecture and performance optimization recommendations.

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences manufacturing environments.

\n

Understanding of GxP, FDA, and regulated manufacturing processes.

\n

Experience with MES system upgrades, validation, and deployment activities.

\n

Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems integration with ERP, historian, and enterprise applications.

\n

Familiarity with system monitoring and performance management tools.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex performance issues across Syncade MES applications and SQL Server environments.

\n

Perform advanced SQL Server performance tuning, including:

Query optimization

\n

Indexing strategies

\n

Execution plan analysis

\n

Database health assessments

\n

Performance monitoring and troubleshooting

\n

Support optimization and troubleshooting of Syncade integrations, interfaces, and enterprise data flows.

\n

Conduct root cause analysis for application, database, and integration-related performance bottlenecks.

\n

Partner with MES, Infrastructure, Database, and Application teams to improve system stability, scalability, and performance.

\n

Review current application and database architecture and recommend performance optimization best practices.

\n

Support Syncade upgrades, enhancements, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide technical recommendations and architecture-level guidance to business and IT stakeholders.
