Job description

Insight Global is seeking an iOS Developer for a top financial services client. This candidate will join a highly visible team focused on mobile authentication, identity access management, and application security initiatives. The ideal candidate is a senior-level Native iOS engineer with strong experience in Swift, authentication frameworks, OAuth, and secure mobile application development. They will partner closely with fraud prevention and security teams to build and enhance critical authentication experiences used by customers. This role requires a strong balance of mobile application expertise, backend integration knowledge, and ownership mentality. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently, participate in architectural discussions, and contribute to the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing iOS applications. * Develop and enhance native iOS applications using Swift * Build and support authentication, authorization, and secure login functionality * Collaborate with fraud, security, and identity access management teams * Design and implement scalable mobile solutions integrated with backend services * Troubleshoot and resolve application crashes, memory leaks, and performance issues * Write and maintain automated tests for mobile applications * Participate in CI/CD processes and source control best practices * Take ownership of key features from design through deployment * Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews * Ensure security and compliance standards are met across mobile applications

Requirements

  • Strong Native iOS development experience using Swift * Working knowledge of Objective-C * Authentication and security protocol experience * Experience with OAuth and identity/access management * Mobile application login and authentication workflows * Financial services industry experience * Strong backend/infrastructure understanding * Experience collaborating with security and fraud teams * Expertise with Git, source control, and merge conflict resolution * CI/CD pipeline experience * Dependency management experience with CocoaPods, Carthage, or Swift Package Manager (SPM) * Automated testing experience including XCTest, unit testing, and UI testing * Strong understanding of concurrency, thread safety, and memory management * Experience identifying memory leaks and debugging application crashes * Advanced Xcode debugging and Instruments experience * Knowledge of dependency injection and modern design patterns * Ability to take ownership of work and drive tasks independently * Deep expertise in identity and access management solutions * Extensive backend architecture experience * Experience with fraud prevention and security initiatives * Strong UI development and user experience design knowledge * Experience with Core Data and other local storage solutions * Proven experience leading technical initiatives and providing architectural guidance
