Job description

We’ll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how these processes can transform and improve their entire organization - starting with key business issues they face. As a Manager in Enterprise Performance Management, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between complex business problems and innovative technical solutions. You will be instrumental in understanding business requirements and defining the solution architecture that translates these requirements into effective, workable solutions. Your expertise will guide technical decisions to ensure they align with business outcomes, offering recommendations that propel the business forward.

Your key responsibilities

You’ll spend most of your time managing project teams, working with a wide variety of clients to deliver finance solutions, and managing business development activities on strategic and global priority accounts.

You will also focus on the effective management and delivery of technology solutions, ensuring quality and risk management. You will engage in continuous process improvement and the identification of innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing solutions to complex problems and recommending policy changes.
  • Establishing procedures that affect your immediate work area and possibly the broader business function.
  • Exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results., To excel as a Manager in Enterprise Performance Management, you will need a robust set of balanced technical and business process skills. Your success will be driven by your proficiency in:
  • Fostering relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently delivering quality client services. Driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
  • Monitoring progress, managing risk and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Managing expectations of client service delivery.
  • Staying up to date with current business and industry trends relevant to our client’s business
  • Effectively managing and motivating project teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Providing constructive on the job feedback/coaching to project team members.
  • Fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment. Playing an active role in counselling and mentoring junior consultants
  • Cultivating and managing business development opportunities. Developing and maintaining long- term client relationships and networks.
  • Assisting in the solution architecture and implementation of EPM tools, finance processes and transformational solutions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree)
  • Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years relevant experience
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in providing complex consultative services in the following focus areas: master data management, actual financial consolidations, planning, budgeting, forecasting or BI reporting
  • Working knowledge of a component of the modern EPM solutions landscape (e.g. Anaplan (Certified Model Builder), Oracle Consolidations (FCCS/HFM), Oracle Planning (Hyperion Planning / PBCS / ePBCS), OneStream, Pigment, Tagetik)
  • A strong working knowledge and point of view on the evolving concepts and practices for EPM tools including AI capabilities
  • Proven track record of understanding business challenges and translating them into value-add solutions - strong analytical and problem- solving skills - actively participate in brainstorming, identifying core issues and effectively finding and using data to manage complex analysis
  • Proven track record of successful solution / architecture design
  • Our candidates have a variety of backgrounds including:
  • Controllership and Financial Reporting support
  • Financial analyst and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) support
  • Systems Admins for EPM solutions
  • Long range, strategic, AOP/Forecasting or capital planner
  • Systems implementation consultant
  • EPM Solution Architect
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills
  • A willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Computer Science, MIS, or IT preferred

Benefits & conditions

  • New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices - $154,000 to $256,700
  • Bay Area California offices - $160,500 to $267,400
  • All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento - $128,400 to $235,300
  • Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
