Job description

Direct client Req:: Need Sr Mid-Level .NET Backend Developer ,Remote, We help healthcare providers and insurers ensure accurate patient eligibility and coverage, reducing claim denials and improving patient access to care. Our platform processes millions of transactions daily, requiring high availability, security, and scalability. By joining our team, you ll play a critical role in improving healthcare operations and outcomes for patients., We re seeking a Backend Software Developer with expertise in building and maintaining scalable .NET applications. In this role, you ll participate in technical initiatives and work on enhancements/defects to ensure our systems meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security. Experience with healthcare data standards such as EDI and HL7, as well as HIPAA compliance, is highly valued. Responsibilities

  • Participate in design and architecture discussions for complex backend systems.
  • Comply with team practices by following best practices in coding and testing.
  • Own critical components of the application lifecycle, from development through release.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to influence technical direction and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and deployment strategies.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in .NET frameworks and .NET 8, C# 12+, and Core, with 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-driven design.
  • Ability to implement secure APIs and enforce best practices for authentication and authorization.
  • Experience profiling and optimizing large-scale applications processing millions of transactions daily.
  • Familiarity with DRY, SOLID, and Clean Architecture principles.

Testing and Tools

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit and Moq.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL database systems.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Dynatrace and Amazon CloudWatch.
  • Comfortable using Git for version control.

Environments

  • Comfortable working in both Windows and Linux environments, including PowerShell and Bash scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures and AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, and EKS.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of healthcare data exchange standards such as X12 and HL7, with the ability to design robust data pipelines.
  • Experience with gRPC or other RPC frameworks.
  • Experience with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube.
  • Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools and practices.
