Pega Developer

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Pega Developer to design, build, and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade case management and BPM solutions on the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on technical expertise with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and mentor junior developers. Exposure to Pega Business Architect (BA) responsibilities is a strong plus, as this role bridges business and technical teams., Solution Design & Development

• Design and develop scalable, reusable Pega applications using Constellation, Case Management, and Pega best practices (Guardrails, PDC, DCO)
• Build and configure case types, data models, flows, decision rules, UI (Constellation/UI Kit), integrations, and reporting
• Implement integrations using REST/SOAP services, Connectors, Services, Kafka/JMS, and file-based interfaces
• Develop and maintain class structures, rulesets, and application layering (Framework/Implementation)
• Implement security using Access Groups, Roles, ABAC/RBAC, and authentication mechanisms (SSO, OAuth, SAML)

Technical Leadership

• Act as technical lead: conduct design reviews, code reviews, and guardrail compliance checks
• Guide the team on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution
• Define and enforce development standards, naming conventions, and reusability practices
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers

Business Analysis Support (Pega BA Exposure)

• Participate in requirement-gathering workshops and translate business needs into user stories and Pega case life cycles
• Assist in creating process maps, use cases, and acceptance criteria
• Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder demos
• Collaborate with Business Architects and Product Owners to refine requirements and validate solutions

Delivery & Quality

• Work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Deployment Manager, Jenkins, Git, and automated testing (Pega Unit, PegaUnit/Scenario Tests)
• Ensure quality through unit testing, code coverage, and support for SIT/UAT cycles
• Manage application packaging, migrations, and release deployments across environments

Operations & Support

• Troubleshoot using Tracer, Clipboard, PLA, Log files, and PDC
• Perform performance analysis and optimization (DB tuning, agent/queue processor tuning, caching)
• Provide L3 production support and root-cause analysis

• 12+ years of overall IT experience, with 8+ years of hands-on Pega development
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) required; Lead System Architect (CLSA) strongly preferred
• Strong expertise in Pega Case Management, Data Pages, Decision Tables/Trees, Declarative Rules, Activities, Flows, and Flow Actions
• Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation and/or traditional UI development
• Proven experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, MQ, JMS) and error handling
• Solid understanding of Pega Platform architecture, DB structure, and deployment models (on-prem, Cloud/Pega Cloud)
• Experience with SLA, Correspondence, Reports, Background Processing (Queue Processors, Job Schedulers)
• Working knowledge of SQL, Java, JSON, XML, and web technologies
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business and technical stakeholders, * Pega Certified Business Architect (CPBA) certification, or 1 to 3 years of hands-on Pega BA experience (requirements gathering, user stories, process modeling, Pega Express/DCO)
• Experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub, Robotic Automation, or Pega GenAI
• Exposure to Pega Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes deployments
• Experience in domains such as Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Telecom
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and Git
• Experience with performance testing and application monitoring tools
