PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Developer

• We are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Developer to support a major higher education technology modernization initiative. This individual will help enhance student planning, registration, advising, and self-service experiences across a complex, multi-campus environment. \n

• This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can translate functional needs into scalable, maintainable PeopleSoft solutions while partnering closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and internal technology staff. \n

• Higher education experience is required, including hands-on work with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions in a college, university, or multi-campus academic environment. \n

• Seven or more years of hands-on technical PeopleSoft experience, including analysis, configuration, development, and production support. \n

• Five or more years of experience with PeopleTools 8.5x or later, including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, BI Publisher, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker. \n

• Strong PeopleSoft Campus Solutions experience in several of the following areas: Academic Advisement, Student Records, Enrollment, Class Scheduling, Campus Community, and student self-service. \n

• Experience developing and configuring PeopleSoft Fluid user interfaces. \n

• Experience with Event Mapping, Page and Field Configurator, and upgrade-safe customization approaches. \n

• Strong Oracle SQL skills for troubleshooting, analysis, and development. \n

• Experience building integrations using REST, JSON, web services, and PeopleSoft Integration Broker. \n

• Experience supporting software testing, release management, source control, defect tracking, and production deployments. \n

• Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. \n

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. \n, * Experience with degree planning, academic advising, schedule planning, registration, or other student success technology. \n

• Experience with PeopleSoft Update Manager and Selective Adoption. \n

• Experience creating reports and extracts using PS Query, BI Publisher, Pivot Grids, or similar tools. \n

• Experience integrating PeopleSoft with advising, CRM, or student engagement platforms. \n

• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards. \n

• Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.

• Design, configure, develop, test, and deploy enhancements within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. \n

• Support improvements to student planning, academic advising, course scheduling, registration, and self-service capabilities. \n

• Evaluate business and technical requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and recommend practical solutions using delivered functionality whenever possible. \n

• Develop and maintain Fluid pages, self-service components, integrations, reports, and related customizations. \n

• Build intuitive, mobile-friendly user experiences for students, advisors, and staff. \n

• Develop data extracts, reporting, and analytics that support enrollment planning, student engagement, and operational decision-making. \n

• Integrate PeopleSoft with internal and external systems using Integration Broker, REST APIs, JSON, and web services. \n

• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, unit and integration testing, user acceptance testing, deployment, and post-production support. \n

• Produce clear technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration details, integration mappings, and support materials. \n

• Partner with functional and technical stakeholders to explain options, resolve issues, and support knowledge transfer to internal staff. \n

• Follow accessibility, privacy, security, and change-management standards. \n
