Lead Data Analyst

GovCIO LLC seeks a Lead Data Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making for federal IT programs. You will own end-to-end analytics: scoping business questions, designing data models, building pipelines and dashboards, and delivering clear insights to executives and program teams. Responsibilities include mentoring analysts, translating mission needs into KPIs, ensuring data quality and governance, and partnering with engineering on modern cloud and BI solutions. Ideal candidates bring strong SQL, BI, and statistics skills plus experience with government or other complex, regulated environments., * Lead design and delivery of end-to-end analytics solutions for federal IT programs

• Partner with stakeholders to translate mission needs into metrics, KPIs, and reporting
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and ETL pipelines
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across multiple sources
• Mentor and guide junior analysts, establishing best practices and standards
• Collaborate with engineering on cloud-based data and BI platforms
• Present clear, actionable insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical leaders
