Job description

Design and build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices in Python.
Own data modeling, SQL optimization, and system integrations.
Lead design and code reviews and establish coding and quality standards.
Drive CI/CD, automated testing, and production root cause analysis.
Mentor engineers and support estimation, planning, and release readiness.

Requirements

Key Skills; PySpark, Databricks, Airflow, and Terraform.
GenAI/LLM integration experience.
Familiarity with React.
8+ years of hands-on experience with Python 3.x and FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
Strong SQL experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
Experience with async programming and Celery or similar background processing frameworks.
Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Service Bus.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools, and pytest.
Understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OWASP security practices.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
2+ years in a Senior, Lead, or Architect role.
Cloud certification preferred.

Benefits & conditions

Pay Range: $52 - $55/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
