Modern Software Developer and Architect

This role is more than just coding. As a senior full-stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

• 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing sof tware programming applications using Agile met hods
• 5+ years of experience in sof tware development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or development stacks, including JavaScript or TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Python, Java, or .NET
• 5+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• 5+ years of experience with data analysis and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience implementing AI, ML, or GenAI-based projects aligned to business needs
• Experience manipulating or using data objects with relational or NoSQL databases
• Experience working with AWS environment
• Knowledge of microservice architectures and sof tware development met hodology
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Statistics, or 8+ years of experience in sof tware engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience acquiring client requirements, process improvement, and performance management, and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Experience leveraging DevOps pipelines to support the rapid delivery of solutions
• Experience in data science, with a focus on science and technology or programs
• Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, SQL, or NoSQL
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, object-oriented programming, and visualization of targeted data sources
• Experience coordinating a workstream and managing tasks
• Knowledge of the ATO process and application hardening
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
• Possession of excellent interpersonal, team, and relationship-building skills
• Cybersecurity Certification such as CompTIA Security+ Certification , and Computing Environment Certification such as CompTIA Linux+ or AWS Asso cia te-level Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
