Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in .NET 8, Azure, RESTful APIs, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, and enterprise application integration. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in .NET application development, with a strong focus on middle-tier and back-end services, APIs, application logic, cloud technologies, authentication/authorization, and secure software development. This role will be responsible for designing and developing scalable integration services, collaborating with QA and other technology teams, implementing DevSecOps and security controls, supporting application deployment through production, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation. Requirements

8+ years of professional experience in .NET application development, particularly in middle-tier and back-end development.
Strong hands-on experience with .NET 8 / ASP.NET Core.
Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure-based application development.
Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
Hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus and publish/subscribe messaging patterns.
Strong understanding of authentication and authorization patterns, including:
Client Credentials
On-Behalf-Of (OBO)
Other OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect flows
Strong experience working with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory.
Experience with API gateways and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with Azure DevOps and DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
Experience with Azure Key Vault.
Experience working with SharePoint Online.
Understanding of application architecture, development standards, reusable architecture artifacts, and standardization processes.
Ability to create clear, detailed, and information-rich architecture/system diagrams.
Excellent communication, technical writing, documentation, and facilitation skills.
Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.

Experience

Experience working in large-scale enterprise or public-sector environments.
Experience designing cloud-native and distributed applications.
Experience with event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging.
Experience implementing application security and enterprise security controls.
Experience participating in architecture reviews and technical design sessions.
Experience mentoring developers and providing technical coaching.
