Job description

We are a growing, technology-driven organization looking for a hands-on IT & Business Systems Manager to own our day-to-day IT environment and help drive the systems that support the business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the combination of IT leadership and hands-on technical work. You’ll oversee end-user IT operations, manage a modern cloud-based technology stack, partner with business systems teams, and help evaluate and improve the tools and processes used across the organization.

The environment is highly focused on automation and AI, giving you the opportunity to improve existing workflows and identify new ways technology can make the organization more efficient., As the IT & Business Systems Manager, you will take ownership of the company’s U.S. IT environment while helping oversee key business platforms and technology initiatives.

This is not a role where all technical work is delegated. We are looking for someone who is comfortable leading IT operations while still jumping in to troubleshoot an endpoint issue, resolve an escalated support request, improve an automation, or help determine the best technology solution for a business need.

What You’ll Do Own day-to-day IT operations and the overall end-user technology experience Manage onboarding, offboarding, user access, licensing, and permissions Provide hands-on support for escalated endpoint, software, access, and connectivity issues Manage the IT service management ticket queue and ensure issues are prioritized and resolved Serve as the escalation point for AI-assisted Tier 1 support Improve IT runbooks, workflows, and support automation Administer Google Workspace, identity/SSO tools, endpoint security, and Mac/Windows devices Support office and conference-room technology Oversee Salesforce and NetSuite through the administrators responsible for those platforms Evaluate business system requests and determine the appropriate technical solution Help prioritize system enhancements based on business impact, cost, and value Manage technology vendors, contracts, renewals, licensing, and software utilization Support AI governance and approved technology usage Assist with SOC 2 and ISO 27001/27701 compliance initiatives Partner with teams across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Customer Support on technology and process improvements

Requirements

4+ years of IT or end-user support experience, including leadership or team lead experience Strong hands-on technical troubleshooting skills Experience supporting a cloud-first/SaaS technology environment Hands-on Google Workspace administration experience Experience with identity and SSO platforms such as JumpCloud, Okta, or similar Experience supporting Mac and Windows endpoints Strong understanding of user access, security, software licensing, and IT operations Ability to evaluate technology requests from both a technical and business perspective Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams Ability to work independently and take ownership of IT initiatives

Nice to Have Experience using AI tools for IT support, automation, or internal applications Salesforce and/or NetSuite exposure Experience with CRM, ERP, or billing systems Experience with middleware/iPaaS platforms such as Celigo SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance experience Experience leading SSO, system migration, or other major IT initiatives Experience creating lightweight internal applications, dashboards, or automations
