QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API testing and automation using Rest Assured. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated API test frameworks and strong knowledge of Java-based automation., * Design, develop, and maintain automated API test scripts using Rest Assured.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end API testing.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java.
• Validate RESTful APIs using HTTP methods, status codes, request/response payloads, headers, and authentication mechanisms.
• Work with Postman for API testing and validation.
• Perform database validation using SQL.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain test documentation and automation scripts.

• Strong experience in QA Automation / SDET.
• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured.
• Strong programming experience in Java.
• Strong experience in API Testing / REST API.
• Experience with Selenium or other UI automation tools.
• Experience with Postman.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience with Jenkins / CI-CD.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
