Job description

Storage Strategies Inc. (SSI) is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst in Philadelphia, PA to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia (NSWCPD) with development and maintenance of local workflow, data integration, data visualization, and database tools. The Computer Systems Analyst will provide expert database and software development, testing and maintenance support services to NSWCPD in support of digital transformation efforts to improve support to U.S. Navy platforms., Assignments will consist of, but are not limited to:

  • New database development for project tracking by contract and technical branch(es) supported.
  • Modify/Maintain/Sustain relational databases, queries, reports to track program and task information.
  • Apply expertise with Microsoft’s Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerApps, and PowerAutomate, Dataverse) to implement requirements where applicable.
  • Generate quantitative and qualitative reports and metrics in PowerBI and other data tools.
  • Microsoft Teams and One Note Support, including restructuring of teams channels, to align with Department Head objectives, utilizing TEAM’s structure for multi-person data input, compiling and tracking of cross-department information, and supporting emergent or ad hoc data calls.
  • Assist with administering user accounts within applications and databases, assign licenses and permissions, and monitor application usage.
  • Work independently using customer-approved strategies to prioritize tasks.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • SECRET Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s level degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience with Oracle, Structured Query Language (SQL) Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, SQL Server 2005, and Microsoft Access.
  • CompTIA Security + Certification

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven delivery of other Navy or Coast Guard database products
  • Four (4) years of experience in performing computer systems analysis, developing database systems and managing enterprise-wide collaborative tools such Microsoft Team’s.
  • Two (2) years of experience designing and using data management tools.
  • Familiar with Navy Flank Speed, and CUI data management
  • Able to work independently and apply logical prioritization to a given backlog of tasks.
  • Knowledge of Navy programs, organizations and functions.
