System Administrator

• Support the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting enterprise network, server, virtualization, storage, firewall, and supporting infrastructure.
• Support Windows Server and Desktop infrastructure and associated enterprise services.
• Develop and implement Splunk dashboards.
• Oversee the nightly backup process including media swaps at the data center.
• Manage the patch download and deployment for the Microsoft components using WSUS.
• Provide end user support for USMC web application including troubleshooting issues in a multi-tier web application, user provisioning, and answering general questions.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle planning, cybersecurity requirements, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain and contribute to technical documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and annual system documentation reviews.
• Other duties as assigned

• 2+ years of relevant experience systems administration, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent education, certifications, and experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualization, enterprise storage, backup/recovery, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Strong cross-platform troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently research, diagnose, and resolve complex technical problems.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity hardening principles and secure enterprise environments.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Must possess DoD 8140 certification, (CompTIA Security+ CE) or obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to work on-site at MCB Quantico., * VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
• Cisco enterprise or Nexus switching
• Juniper SRX/vSRX firewalls and Junos
• Enterprise SAN/iSCSI storage and Veeam
• Splunk or comparable centralized logging platforms
• RADIUS/MFA and PKI/certificate-based authentication
• DISA STIGs, RMF/ATO, and ACAS/Nessus
• PowerShell, scripting, or infrastructure automation
