Job description
A role on the Global Technology Strategy team offers the opportunity to work directly on the firm’s most pressing technology priorities, offering exposure to high-impact decisions, a broad view across JPMorganChase, and the chance to help shape the future direction of the firm’s technology agenda.
As a Vice President on the Global Technology Strategy team, you will partner directly with some of the firm’s most senior technology leaders to shape the firmwide view on technology strategy for key initiatives at the forefront of the industry, applying the strategy consulting toolkit (e.g., problem framing, critical thinking, analysis/synthesis, executive narrative, stakeholder management) to solve complex, cross-cutting technology problems. You will bring meaningful technical depth and a strong command of how the AI landscape is evolving - particularly for financial institutions - paired with the leadership and communication skills to drive clarity on high-stakes decisions. This is not solely a people-management role: you will be hands-on in shaping the answer, engaging directly with stakeholders on the substance of the work, driving alignment to a defensible direction, and mobilizing stakeholders toward execution across priorities., * Partner directly with the firm’s most senior technology leaders as a trusted advisor and thought partner on their most pressing and consequential strategic questions

Requirements
-
7+ years of business and technology strategy experience, with proven end-to-end ownership of complex, cross-cutting work
-
Experience advising senior leaders/clients on enterprise technology strategy in a broad, complex corporate environment
-
Strong relationship, interpersonal, facilitation, and influencing skills; ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior business and technology executives

-
Strong grasp of the evolving AI landscape, including fluency in how AI is being adopted and governed within financial institutions
-
Demonstrated ability to drive a wide group of stakeholders toward a common, defensible answer and mobilize them toward execution
-
Excellent technical and business presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver a compelling, credible narrative that weaves together strategy, emerging technologies, and industry trends for both technical and non-technical senior executives
-
Demonstrated ability to prioritize critical issues, structure ambiguous problems, distill feedback into root causes, and drive efficient decision-making, with a proven entrepreneurial style
-
Proficiency using AI tools and platforms in day-to-day work for operational efficiency
-
Undergraduate or graduate degree in business or a technology field (or related field)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
