Job description

Seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer to support VDOT ITD’s tolling modernization program.

Requirements

  • 4+ years Azure DevOps CI/CD (YAML and Classic)
  • 3+ years Azure App Services, Functions, APIs, and Containers
  • 3+ years Azure Key Vault, RBAC, and Managed Identities
  • SQL deployment automation (DACPAC, SQLCMD, CI/CD-integrated migrations)
  • 3+ years environment provisioning and configuration
  • 3+ years Azure Monitor, Application Insights, logging, and observability
  • 2+ years Terraform, Bicep, or ARM
  • Entra ID and least-privilege access
  • PowerShell and/or Python scripting
  • Azure production administration and engineering
  • 1+ year PCI or similar compliance experience

Preferred:

  • Docker and AKS
  • Azure Policy and governance automation
  • Cloud cost analysis and optimization
  • AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400 certifications
