SAP BODS Consultant

• Develop, maintain, and support SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) ETL jobs and workflows.
• Assist with data extraction, transformation, and loading from various source systems.
• Work with SAP and non-SAP data sources and target systems.
• Develop and maintain data flows, workflows, mappings, and transformations.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
• Perform data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot data integration issues.
• Support production incidents and resolve data-related issues within agreed timelines.
• Assist senior BODS consultants with data migration and integration projects.
• Prepare technical documentation for jobs, workflows, mappings, and processes.
• Coordinate with functional and technical teams to understand data requirements.

We are looking for a Junior SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) Consultant to support data integration, ETL development, data migration, and production support activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP BODS and a good understanding of ETL concepts and SQL., * 2-5 years of experience with SAP BODS / SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.

• Good understanding of ETL concepts and data integration.
• Hands-on experience creating Jobs, Workflows, Data Flows, and Transformations in BODS.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Understanding of data migration and data validation processes.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Riverwoods, IL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA data sources.
• Knowledge of SAP BODS transformations such as Query, Table Comparison, Lookup, Validation, and History Preservation.
• Exposure to SAP BW/BW4HANA or other data warehouse technologies.
• Experience with scheduling and monitoring BODS jobs.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting is a plus.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
