Job description

JPI is hiring a Power Platform Consultant with 6 years of experience to assist the United States Coast Guard (USCG) with designing, developing, implementing, and sustaining enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions that support mission-critical recruiting, workforce management, business operations, and organizational transformation initiatives. This position provides technical leadership for application architecture, business process automation, systems integration, data management, and solution governance while ensuring alignment with Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and federal cybersecurity requirements. The Architect partners closely with government stakeholders, program managers, analysts, developers, and end users to deliver secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions that improve operational effectiveness and support strategic business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems, with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience, OR \n

  • Master’s degree (MA/MS) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems, with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, OR \n

  • Relevant expert-level technical certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert) and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree. \n

  • Relevant experience includes solution architecture, enterprise application development, technical leadership, and systems integration. \n

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in direct support of the US Coast Guard or Government Agencies supporting defense and Homeland Security, with proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale solutions. \n

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) certification required. \n

  • CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) certification required. \n

  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale Microsoft Power Platform solutions. \n

  • Experience establishing governance frameworks, development standards, and application lifecycle management processes. \n

  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, CRM platforms, APIs, and enterprise data sources. \n

  • Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and managing complex solution delivery efforts. \n

  • Experience supporting application sustainment, operational support, and production environments. \n

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders. \n

  • Proficiency in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. \n

  • Experience building and maintaining a trusting relationship with the client and prioritizing demands. \n

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently. \n

  • Proven ability to support and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven process. \n

  • Ability to work remotely and onsite as needed at USCG HQ \n, * Experience supporting recruiting, workforce management, human capital, or operational mission-support organizations. \n

  • Experience implementing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and talent acquisition systems. \n

  • Experience with robotic process automation (RPA), including UiPath integration. \n

  • Experience with SharePoint Online migrations and Microsoft 365 governance. \n

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or DevSecOps methodologies. \n

  • Experience supporting cloud-based modernization and digital transformation initiatives within federal environments. \n

  • Familiarity with DHS 4300A, NIST 800-series controls, and federal information security requirements. \n

  • Capability to manage projects of high complexity and to direct the completion of projects within estimated timeframes and resource constraints. \n

  • Ability to recognize new business development opportunities. \n

  • Expertise in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 information management/repository solutions. \n

  • Ensure solutions are designed and deployed to meet client requirements and objectives. \n

  • Codifying best practices for future reuse in the form of accessible, reusable patterns, templates, and code base \n

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to developers to support the continued training. \n

Expected compensation for this role is between $80,000-110,000, including a generous benefits package with comprehensive healthcare coverage.
