React Native Engineer

• Owning the architecture and development of the React Native SDK, establishing patterns and technical foundations that scale across customers and products \n

• Designing and building reusable, developer-friendly SDK components and APIs \n

• Working across the React Native and native mobile layers, developing integrations with iOS and Android platform capabilities \n

• Building high-performance interactive experiences that combine video, UI, data, and real-time interactions \n

• Designing solutions for challenging mobile constraints including rendering performance, memory usage, network conditions, and device fragmentation \n

• Investigating and resolving complex issues across the React Native, JavaScript, and native iOS/Android layers \n

• Establishing and maintaining automated testing strategies across unit, integration, and UI testing \n

• Owning features through the full development lifecycle, from technical design through release, documentation, and post-release support \n

• Contributing to SDK versioning, release processes, and backwards compatibility \n

• Participating in on-call rotation and contributing to incident response \n

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including shipping production React Native applications \n

• Deep proficiency in React, React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript \n

• Strong understanding of React Native architecture, including component design, rendering, state management, and the bridge/JSI/native layers \n

• Professional experience developing for both iOS and Android \n

• Experience building SDKs, libraries, frameworks, or other developer-facing platforms is strongly preferred \n

• Experience writing native modules or integrating React Native with Swift/Objective-C and/or Kotlin/Java \n

• Experience integrating applications with REST, WebSocket, and similar real-time APIs \n

• Strong understanding of mobile performance, including rendering, memory management, network efficiency, and startup time \n

• Experience designing developer-facing APIs and documentation \n

• Experience with video, streaming, or interactive media applications is a plus
