Requirements

2+ years of experience with Object Oriented Design and Programming in a high-level like C#, .NET, Java, SQL, HTML, and CSS \n

  • \n 2+ years of experience with software development on Windows or Linux \n

  • \n 2+ years of experience developing software for containerized architectures (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes) \n

  • \n 2+ years of experience in Git \n

  • \n 2+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment \n, Level 2: Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience OR 10+ years of related, relevant experience \n

  • \n Working knowledge of specification formats and change control; basic awareness of how standards relate to certification systems \n

  • \n Ability to support requirements derivation, allocation, and maintain traceability under guidance \n

  • \n Experience building, integrating, and troubleshooting software components in common host environments (processors, OS, networks); escalates complex issues \n

  • \n Practical experience with one or more programming and basic database usage; exposure to auto-coded or low-level is a plus

The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Software Development Engineer to join the Government Vehicle Health Maintenance team in Hazelwood, MO. This role supports the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Software Engineering organization by developing innovative solutions to enhance platform health management.

\n

\n

As part of Boeing Global Services Software Engineering, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud- microservices that capture and analyze platform health and usage data, perform automated assessments, and generate actionable maintenance recommendations. Your work will directly support mission readiness and lower lifecycle costs for platforms including F/A-18, MQ-25, F-15, T-38, T-7, and proprietary systems. Successful candidates will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle on an Agile team working within a CI/CD pipeline.
