-
Serves as the primary technical advisor on cross-functional, multi-system initiatives. \n
-
Mentors engineers, leads architecture reviews, and provides executive updates on roadmaps and trade-offs. \n
-
Performs other duties as assigned. \n
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered. \n
-
A minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise solutions architecture, owning complex, multi-system technical solutions. \n
-
Hands-on experience architecting solutions involving Salesforce and NetSuite, including integration and customization strategy. \n
-
Experience with Celigo or comparable iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato). \n
-
Experience architecting telecom, call center, or real-time communications platforms (e.g., call routing, IVR, SIP, WebRTC, CPaaS/UCaaS). \n
-
Experience architecting IoT or connected-device platforms, including multi-vendor device integration, telemetry ingestion, and near-real-time alerting pipelines. \n
-
Familiarity with device lifecycle and vendor-management concerns (device onboarding, end-of-life/migration planning, OTA update coordination) and demonstrated ability to partner effectively with embedded/device engineering teams on the device-to-cloud boundary. \n
-
Experience designing real-time event-streaming architectures (e.g., Kafka/Confluent) for high-volume telemetry and alerting use cases, such as continuous health monitoring or PERS (Personal Emergency Response System)-style event pipelines. \n
-
Deep expertise across AWS (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, S3) and Azure (e.g., App Services, Azure Fabric, Logic Apps) services, with proficiency in both platforms’ Well-Architected Framework principles. \n
-
Expert-level knowledge of solution architecture frameworks and best practices (TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent). \n
-
Strong API-first and event-driven integration background (REST/SOAP, Kafka/Confluent, EventBridge, Service Bus). \n
-
Advanced SQL and working proficiency in Python or a comparable language. \n
-
Working knowledge of data governance and privacy regulations (GDPR, FCC) in regulated industries. \n
-
Strong grounding in non-functional requirements (NFR) engineering - performance, scalability, availability, reliability, and disaster recovery planning - with experience defining and validating SLAs/SLOs. \n
-
Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including threat modeling, secure SDLC, zero-trust architecture, identity/access management, and vulnerability and risk management. \n, * Experience supporting multiple business entities or a multi-brand technology environment. \n
-
Experience in telecom, healthcare, wellness, or other regulated industries. \n
-
Familiarity with customer 360 platform design connecting CRM, ERP, and telecom systems.
Benefits & conditions
n
-
Designs & maintains end-to-end solution architecture across our Client’s aligning applications, integrations, and infrastructure to business strategy. \n
-
Architects integration patterns across Salesforce, NetSuite, and Celigo (iPaaS), and designs API-first, event-driven integrations connecting the Call Platform and captioning services to core business applications. \n
-
Defines system-of-record and master data strategy across customer, order, billing, and telecom/device data domains, partnering with the Data Architecture function to align with enterprise data standards. \n
-
Produces solution architecture artifacts, including system diagrams, integration maps, technology stacks, and architecture decision records (ADRs). \n
-
Evaluates build-vs-buy and platform consolidation opportunities across the application portfolio. \n
\n
\n
Device & Device Integration Architecture (Critical - Primary User Layer):
\n \n
-
Designs & maintains the telephone/device-to-platform integration layer - where physical hardware in the member’s hand or home meets the software platform - treating it as the primary user layer, not a downstream integration detail. \n
-
Architects the integration between phone hardware, the Call Platform, and CCSaaS telephony providers (e.g., RingCentral, NICE CXone), ensuring reliable provisioning, call routing, and device-state sync. \n
-
Establishes a device/vendor onboarding framework so new phone hardware integrates predictably, including EOL and device-generation migration planning. \n
-
Partners with the Device & Embedded Systems Architect on the device-to-cloud boundary: this role owns platform-side integration, data contracts, and end-to-end reliability; that role owns on-device architecture (firmware, OS, OTA, MDM). \n
\n
\n
Telecom & Captioning Architecture:
\n \n
-
Designs solution architecture for Call Platform capabilities, including call routing, provisioning, device/number management, SIP/carrier (SBC) integrations, and PSTN interconnects. \n
-
Architects the integration between captioning services, call handling infrastructure, and downstream CRM, billing, and reporting systems. \n
-
Ensures architecture meets the reliability, latency, and availability demands of real-time voice, WebRTC, and captioning workloads. \n
\n
\n
Cloud Architecture:
\n \n
-
Designs multi-cloud solution architecture across AWS (e.g., API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, S3) and Azure (e.g., App Services, Azure Fabric, Logic Apps), applying Well-Architected Framework principles on both platforms. \n
-
Establishes standards for environment strategy, disaster recovery, high availability, and infrastructure-as-code. \n
\n
\n
Non-Functional Requirements & Resiliency:
\n \n
-
Defines and owns non-functional requirements (NFRs) performance, scalability, availability, reliability, maintainability, and disaster recovery - across all solution designs. \n
-
Establishes NFR validation practices, including load/capacity testing, failover testing, and SLA/SLO definition for critical platforms. \n
-
Balances NFR trade-offs (cost, latency, resiliency) across telecom, captioning, and cloud workloads. \n
\n
\n
Governance, Security & Compliance:
\n \n
-
Ensures solutions comply with FCC, HIPAA, PCI, and accessibility requirements (e.g., Section 508) relevant to telecom and captioning services. \n
-
Applies secure-by-design and threat-modeling practices (e.g., STRIDE) to all solution architectures, including identity, encryption, and secure API design. \n
-
Partners with Security/InfoSec on vulnerability management, penetration test remediation, and zero-trust network design across the solution landscape. \n
-
Establishes architecture review processes and maintains a current- and future-state architecture repository. \n
\n
\n, * Familiarity with accessibility or assistive communication standards (e.g., FCC IP CTS requirements). \n
-
Certifications in AWS or Azure solutions architecture, Salesforce, or enterprise architecture (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.). \n
-
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, Security+) or site reliability engineering experience.
