Job description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle XStore Developer to develop, customize, integrate, and support Oracle XStore applications for retail operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Oracle XStore Suite, POS integrations, Oracle PL/SQL, payment processing, and production support., * Develop, customize, enhance, and maintain Oracle XStore applications and integrations supporting retail operations, inventory management, and in-store transactions.
- Implement XStore customizations, configurations, UI enhancements, extensions, and locale changes.
- Work with Solution Architects, Application Architects, and technical leads on solution design and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and development teams in an Agile environment.
- Support POS deployments, upgrades, device configurations, environment setup, and application releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving XStore applications, Oracle databases, payment processing, store devices, and third-party integrations.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for production defects.
- Develop and maintain integrations between XStore and inventory, order management, customer, payment, and reporting platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, support runbooks, and operational guides.
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability in a high-volume retail environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Oracle XStore Suite, including:
- Oracle XStore
- XAdmin
- XCenter
- XServices
- XEnvironment
- XMobile and tablet solutions
- Experience with Oracle XStore version 23.x.
- Strong experience in XStore customizations, configurations, UI modifications, and enhancements.
- Hands-on experience with locale and regional configurations, POS deployments, upgrades, and device integrations.
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, debugging, and production support.
- Experience integrating payment solutions using EFTLink or AJB frameworks with providers such as FreedomPay, SixPay, or Tender Retail.
- Strong Oracle Database and PL/SQL development experience.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills., * Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Java backend development experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate, and Java REST services.
- Experience with Jackson, Gson, and Spring Transaction Management.
- Experience integrating retail POS systems with inventory, order management, CRM, or eCommerce platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale retail operations and distributed store environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
