Alternate Foley office locations may be considered based on business need and the candidate’s experience.

Qualified candidates will have experience advising on privacy and cybersecurity compliance, counseling, and incident response (including breach notification laws) and familiarity with U.S. state, federal, and international privacy and regulatory compliance and counseling (such as CCPA, COPPA, GDPR, GLBA, COPPA, HIPAA, and TCPA). The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong experience in several of the following areas: (1) data breach investigations and notifications, (2) privacy assessments, (3) data mapping and records of processing exercises, and (4) development of security and privacy policies and procedures. CIPP or other relevant industry certification are valued. Educational, legal work, or non-legal work experience demonstrating an interest or capabilities in the areas of technology, licensing, cybersecurity, or professional services delivery or management is also highly valued.

We are seeking a well-rounded, highly motivated associate with strong writing, analytical, and oral communication skills. Sound judgment, attention to detail, and willingness to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment are essential. The candidate should expect direct interaction with partners and clients and must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic.

To be considered, applicants must hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials and must be active members in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located will be required as a condition of employment.
