Job description

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Sr. Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives that deliver innovative cloud solutions for global customers. In this role, you will define and own program roadmaps, align engineering, product, and business stakeholders, and drive execution using data-driven mechanisms. You will manage technical risks and dependencies, improve delivery processes, and communicate clearly with senior leaders. AWS offers a customer-obsessed, high-ownership culture where you’ll tackle complex technical challenges, learn cutting-edge cloud technologies, and grow rapidly. Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field and extensive experience leading technical programs preferred., * Lead cross-functional technical programs from concept to launch across multiple AWS services

  • Define program roadmaps, scope, milestones, and success metrics aligned with business goals
  • Drive alignment among engineering, product, and business stakeholders using data-driven decisions
  • Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs at scale
  • Implement program management best practices, mechanisms, and reporting for senior leadership
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear plans and communications
  • Continuously improve delivery processes, operational excellence, and customer outcomes
  • Mentor teams on program management, mechanisms, and high-quality execution
