Backend JS Developer

Lead the backend architecture behind server-side systems that have to stay fast, reliable, and secure under real production load. As a Senior Node.js Web Developer at Talentica, you’ll work with our client Autodesk, building TypeScript-based Node.js services and RESTful APIs, solving engineering challenges such as asynchronous, event-driven architecture at scale., * Design and build server-side services in Node.js and TypeScript, using frameworks like Express.js or Nest.js.

• Own the RESTful APIs connecting front-end and back-end systems, including their performance and reliability.
• Design database schemas and optimize queries across MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth) to protect sensitive data.
• Own code quality across the team: lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and debug production issues.
• Work with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and integration, and maintain technical documentation for the codebase and APIs., * You’ll bring AI-assisted tools into your daily TypeScript and Node.js development workflow.
• Owning API performance and database design for a production system is how you’ll grow into a stronger backend architect.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing back-end applications using Node.js.
• Exceptional proficiency in TypeScript.
• Advanced expertise in one or more web frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Nest.js).
• In-depth understanding of server-side JavaScript, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
