Infrastructure Engineer 2

Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer II to support current hybrid infrastructure operations while advancing the organization toward a standardized Azure platform operating model. The salary $125,000-$150,000. This role blends existing systems administration, monitoring, backup, patching, and incident response responsibilities with future-state Azure platform delivery, Infrastructure as Code, landing zone alignment, and pipeline-integrated deployment practices.

At least three years of infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or hybrid cloud operations experience; Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure compute, storage, identity, monitoring, and hybrid integration patterns; Working experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates; Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills in complex hybrid environments; Experience with Azure Landing Zones, management groups, policies, RBAC, and subscription governance; Familiarity with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines; Experience supporting Windows/Linux systems, Active Directory, DNS, backup/recovery, patching, and monitoring tools; Excellent organizational skills; Experience with backup/DR platforms such as Veeam, Rubrik, or equivalent cloud- native recovery services; Azure Administrator Associate or comparable Azure certification.
