Job description
Blinds To Go is seeking a Front-End Web Developer who will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality, responsive web designs that align with the UX strategy and UI design in partnership with UX/UI design and the marketing team as a whole.
This is an in-person role 5 days/week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, responsive web designs that align with the UX strategy and UI design.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern web development tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with the UX/UI Designer to ensure designs are accurately implemented.
- Work with other members of the marketing team to integrate new features and experiences into the website.
- Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure the website functions properly across different devices and browsers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices.
- Work closely with the marketing team to bring new features and experiences to life on the website.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in front end web development, with a focus on retail and e-commerce.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite (Photoshop and XD).
- Understanding of design best practices and coding practices including accessibility.
- Experience with front end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React a plus.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git a plus.
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
