Job description

We’re looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our Information Technology team based in Newcastle, helping us get the very best from our Salesforce platform. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in how we use technology to support our people, improve customer experiences and drive smarter ways of working across the business. You’ll be the go-to expert for Salesforce, making sure the platform is reliable, efficient and continually improving. Alongside day to day administration, you’ll support our digital and AI ambitions, including Agentforce and other AI-powered capabilities that will help us deliver more personalised, data-driven experiences. You’ll also be involved in;

  • Managing user accounts, profiles, roles, and permissions.
  • Maintaining data quality, including imports, exports, deduplication, and quality assurance.
  • Building and maintaining reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights for stakeholders.
  • Configuring and customising Salesforce features such as objects, fields, flows, page layouts, and validation rules.
  • Providing day-to-day support for users, helping them get the most from the platform.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Maintaining system documentation, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Overseeing platform updates, testing, and integrations with other IT systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with data protection, security policies, and audit requirements.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter with proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator. You’ll also have;

  • Experience of working with Salesforce Service Cloud or other Salesforce products.
  • Salesforce administrator certification (ADM201 or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including flows, validation rules, page layouts, reports and dashboards.
  • A good understanding of Salesforce security, permissions and user management.
  • Experience managing data quality and governance controls.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to support, train and engage users.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce and other AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and applications would be desirable.
  • Experience working within an IT services or customer-focused environment and knowledge of Agile ways of working would be desirable.
