Solution Architect

A major financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support multiple security-related projects across a complex transformation landscape. This is a hands-on architecture role working across business, data, application, integration, security and cloud domains - ideal for a strong generalist architect with solid security project exposure. You’ll work across a broad range of initiatives, shaping solution options, resolving design issues, and ensuring secure-by-design principles are Embedded throughout. The environment is regulated, stakeholder-heavy and technically complex, with Legacy and modern cloud platforms co-existing., * Provide end-to-end solution architecture across multiple security-focused projects.

• Translate enterprise standards and guardrails into delivery-ready designs.
• Shape solution options, assess risks, dependencies and trade-offs.
• Embed secure-by-design principles, identity/access considerations and integration security.
• Produce clear architecture artefacts, models and decision records.
• Work closely with engineering, product, security, risk and architecture teams.

• Strong Solution Architect background delivering complex change across multiple programmes.
• Experience working on security-related projects (secure-by-design, identity & access, data protection, threat considerations).
• Designing multi-system, cross-platform solutions across business, data, application, integration, security and cloud domains.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics beneficial.
• Understanding of authentication technologies (eg, Ping or similar).
• Experience in a regulated environment with complex IT estates (including Legacy).
• Strong stakeholder-facing capability - able to influence business, engineering and senior leadership.
