Solution Architect

You facilitate the collaboration with external development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices

You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical details into accessible language

- You document solutions and disseminate best practices among team members, You hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field

- You have 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a strong focus on software product development

- You have practical experience in at least one of the following domains: regulatory environments, agentic commerce, loyalty programs, vouchers, digital marketing, or payments (including PCI DSS, PSD2/SCA, or AML/KYC)

- You are proficient in microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, CI/CD), Auth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols, alongside practices like Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and DevOps

- You have hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, GitHub, and Datadog

- You have a proven track record of implementing cutting-edge technologies within a corporate environment

- You possess strong teamwork and good communication skills, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure

- You are fluent in English; German language skills are a strong plus

Depending on the market, Mercedes pay may act as the technical payment gateway for transaction processing from Mercedes me store, the Mercedes me app, in-car payments and may even support online vehicle sales. 2023 has already been a big year-we launched full online vehicle payments in the UK and introduced native in-car payments in Germany, an industry-first feature by which users can pay directly by fingerprint inside their car.
