Job description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to help improve our customer’s security posture across GCP, Azure, and AWS environments. This individual will be responsible for driving cloud risk reduction initiatives through secure cloud deployment patterns, Policy-as-Code implementation, CSPM modernization, and automated security controls.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with GCP, Wiz, Terraform, and Policy-as-Code technologies (OPA/Rego preferred), along with a strong foundation in cloud engineering, infrastructure security, IAM, networking, and security automation. Success in this role requires a demonstrated ability to independently design, implement, secure, and remediate cloud solutions while clearly articulating technical decisions, tradeoffs, and individual contributions within complex enterprise environments., * Active GCP Professional Certification (Cloud Security Engineer, Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Network Engineer)

  • 5+ years of hands-on GCP engineering experience
  • Strong Cloud Security Engineering background focused on: Security posture management, risk remediation, cloud governance, security automation, hands-on Wiz/CSPM experience, including identifying and remediating cloud security risks.
  • Strong Policy-as-Code experience: OPA/Rego preferred, Sentinel or CEL acceptable, and experience creating and maintaining enterprise policy libraries
  • 3+ years of Terraform in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of: IAM / Least Privilege, Network & Infrastructure Security, Data Protection & Encryption, Application Security, and Compute, Storage, Databases, and SDN
  • Automation/scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • AWS and/or Azure Security
  • GitHub, GitHub Actions, or Atlantis
  • Secure cloud deployment patterns/reference architectures
  • Experience implementing enterprise security tooling.
  • DevOps, SRE, Networking, Security Engineering, or IAM background
  • Large enterprise experience
