Job description

This role supports a growing Renewable Energy team by serving as a senior Business Analyst embedded with an Agile development team, owning ETRM system configuration, reporting, and cross-functional stakeholder alignment., Serve as a power super-user and subject matter expert for ETRM platforms, supporting front, mid, and back-office business users Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to meet evolving business reporting needs Partner with development teams in a two-week Agile/Scrum sprint cadence to translate business requirements into actionable user stories Manage and execute ETRM system configurations, upgrades, and implementations across the full system development lifecycle Conduct QA testing and apply business analysis methodologies to validate system changes and new functionality Develop cost/benefit analyses to support prioritization and decision-making for technology initiatives Bridge communication between technology and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on requirements, timelines, and outcomes

Requirements

5-7 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst with direct ETRM system experience Proven experience implementing, configuring, and supporting ETRM platforms such as Openlink, Allegro, FIS, PowerOptix, or Trellis Proficiency in Power BI, including the ability to independently build and publish reports Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams operating on two-week sprint cycles Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to translate between technical and business audiences

Qualifications:

Familiarity with additional ETRM platforms such as Quoreka or Orchestrade Experience with system design, related analysis, and project management methodologies Background in the Renewable Energy or broader energy/commodities sector Experience conducting formal cost/benefit analyses in support of technology investment decisions
