Founding Platform Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and infrastructure that support Finch’s core platform functionalities.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Build reliable APIs and integrations to streamline event planning, logistics, and follow-through processes for our customers.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, deployment, and security to ensure a stable platform.
• Contribute to the architecture decisions that influence the growth and flexibility of Finch’s software ecosystem.
• Participate in early-stage product development by providing technical insights and innovative solutions.
• Work directly with early customers and design partners to gather feedback and iterate rapidly on features.
• Take ownership of technical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance as the platform scales.

• Familiarity with API design, database management (SQL or NoSQL), and integrating third-party services.
