Configuration Manager - Journeyman

This position is responsible for configuration identification, change control, status accounting, audits, and configuration documentation. • p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Manage software baselines, version control practices, and branching standards to preserve integrity and traceability.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Execute change control workflows, including intake, impact analysis, approvals, implementation tracking, and closure.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Conduct functional and physical configuration audits to verify consistency between documentation and deployed systems.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Produce configuration status accounting reports, metrics, and leadership briefings for governance and compliance reviews.

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> At least 4 years of configuration management experience in software or technical environments.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Experience developing and maintaining configuration management plans, baselines, and version control practices.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Experience performing configuration audits, status accounting, and change control activities.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Experience working with engineering, operations, and program stakeholders in a regulated environment.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Active Secret clearance.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> U.S. citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Experience with ServiceNow CMDB or a similar configuration management platform.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Familiarity with DevSecOps toolchains and automated configuration tracking.
• p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0”> Industry certification such as Certified Configuration Manager or ITIL Foundation.
