Job description
The EDI Developer will be responsible for supporting Burlingtonās EDI applications, integrations, maps, trading partner setups, and production issue resolution. This role will work closely with EDI specialists, business partners, vendors, infrastructure teams, and external service providers to ensure reliable EDI transaction processing. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with EDI standards, mapping, troubleshooting, production support, and application integration. The role requires both technical development ability and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production support environment.
A Day In The Life
- Support, monitor daily EDI production processing and resolve transaction-related issues.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot EDI maps, trading partner configurations, and transaction flows.
- Support EDI transactions including 850, 856, 810, 997, 824, 852, 860, 204, 211, 214, and other related documents as needed.
- Investigate and resolve failed, rejected, delayed, or duplicate EDI transmissions.
- Work with EDI specialists to review vendor issues and provide technical resolution.
- Maintain and update trading partner setup, Comm IDs, qualifiers, cross references, routing, and related configurations.
- Support Burlingtonās EDI Gateway, traditional EDI, AS2, VAN, and related integration processes.
- Assist with EDI platform upgrades, migrations, testing, and validation.
- Partner with infrastructure and application teams on server, connectivity, file transfer, and system availability issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, support notes, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in production support rotation or after-hours support as required.
- Ensure EDI changes are tested, documented, and implemented according to Burlington change management processes.
Requirements
- 3+ Years of Experience with Cleo Clarify, Cleo Harmony, Cleo, Cleo Integration Cloud, or similar EDI platforms.
- Experience with PL-SQL, databases, or application troubleshooting.
- Experience with Windows server environments and scheduled jobs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, business users, vendors, and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple incidents and priorities in a production support environment.
- Strong documentation and follow-through skills.
- Experience with EDI mapping, translation, and trading partner setup.
Systems / Tools Experience
Preferred experience with one or more of the following:
- Cleo Clarify / Harmony
- VAN / AS2 / SFTP connectivity
- PL-SQL / PostgreSQL / database queries scripting
- Windows /Linux Scripting#LI-ML1
