Job description

Abbott Laboratories seeks an Engineer II, Instrumentation integration to design, integrate, and validate instrumentation and sensor systems for biotech and diagnostic platforms. In this role, you will develop system requirements, select and integrate instruments, and implement data acquisition and control solutions. You will create test, calibration, and validation protocols, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO standards. Working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, you’ll partner with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver reliable, innovative health technologies that improve patient outcomes worldwide., * Design and integrate instrumentation and sensors into biotech and diagnostic systems.

  • Develop and execute test, calibration, and validation protocols in regulated environments.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to define system requirements.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation, automation, and data acquisition issues.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and ISO quality and documentation standards.
  • Support system upgrades, change control, and technical risk assessments.
  • Generate technical documentation, specifications, and diagrams.
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and transfer to manufacturing.
