Job description
Put your enterprise systems expertise to work supporting the Defense Logistics Agency. We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support the DLA Enterprise Windows Administration Support Services (EWASS) program in Battle Creek, Michigan. You will help maintain reliable, secure systems through hands-on administration, troubleshooting, automation, and infrastructure improvements.
What You’ll Do
- Install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize enterprise software systems and network connections.
- Administer Windows Server environments and support server builds, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Troubleshoot software, application, and connectivity issues for users and technical teams.
- Analyze system capacity and performance and recommend improvements.
- Support cloud and hybrid hosting, patching, backup and recovery, and vulnerability remediation.
- Apply DISA STIG requirements and support RMF compliance activities.
- Use PowerShell and other automated tools to improve administration efficiency and accuracy.
- Support load balancing, fault tolerance, technical procedures, and administrator or user training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- At least 10 years of specialized information processing experience, with the majority spanning specialized disciplines and a range of hardware and software solutions.
- At least 4 years of concentrated hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software.
- A relevant technical certification from a nationally recognized authority.
- DoD-approved 8570/8140 baseline certification at the IAT II or IAT III level.
- Applicable DLA-approved Computing Environment certifications for Server Admin M and Domain Admin Z, covering cloud or Microsoft operating systems as required.
- Secret clearance and Tier 5 investigation meeting High Risk/Critical Sensitive IT-1 requirements at proposal submission.
- U.S. citizenship., * Enterprise Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP experience.
- Experience with PowerShell, ServiceNow, Azure, AWS, or milCloud.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery, PKI, load balancing, and fault tolerance.
- Experience with DISA STIGs, RMF, patching, and vulnerability management in a DoD or DLA environment.
- Additional Microsoft, Azure, ITIL, cloud, or cybersecurity credentials.

Location: On-site, DLA Logistics Information Service, 74 N. Washington Avenue, Battle Creek, MI 49037; final assignment subject to confirmation Employment: Full-time, W-2 Target Salary Range: 140,000-145,000 annually, subject to experience, certifications, and final approved pricing Clearance: Secret clearance and Tier 5 investigation required at proposal submission Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required Anticipated Start: November 12, 2026; contingent on contract award
