Job description

Software Engineer role is to design, develop, test, analyse, debug, and maintain MCU software applications based out of Classic Autosar, in support of the achievement of business requirements throughout the production life cycle. Work with product owner and scrum team lead to support estimation and planning in an iterative development environment. Interact with multiple software competencies and system competencies to overcome the obstacles of the owned software module.

Requirements

College diploma or University degree and 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong experience in Embedded C, any one of RTOS (uCOS, Zephyr, Free RTOS or Microsar OS) and basics of C++ programming. Hands on experience in developing & testing application SWC/CDD (hand-coded and not just model-based Auto code generation) using DaVinci developer & DaVinci Configurator or similar market standard tools Strong experience in CAN communication & Diagnostics stack Basic knowledge or experience configuring the RTE and CAN, NVM, Diagnostics stack in BSW Proficiency in debugging with tools such as Trace32, Lauterbach, Jlink, Multi IDE, etc Exposure to make files, cross compilers and build systems with the ability to effectively utilize these tools in a professional setting. Exposure to unit testing practices and static code analysis techniques, demonstrating the ability to ensure code quality and reliability. Desired qualifications: Automotive experience, preferably in Telematics/Cockpit/Zonal ECUs Exposure to communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C Ability to understand Microcontroller datasheets and schematics Basics of ARM architecture, Cybersecurity and HSM concepts Experience working with simulation tools like CANoe, CANanalyzer or PCAN
