Job description
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems and processing-intensive analytics.
- Implement novel algorithms and manipulate large-scale data sets within distributed environments.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams across the full software development lifecycle.
- Leverage key technologies including Java, Hadoop, Accumulo, MapReduce, Kubernetes, and Ansible., * Analyze user requirements to derive detailed software architecture and system design specifications.
- Design, code, test, and debug new software or modify existing solutions to incorporate advanced features.
- Design and implement complex algorithms adhering to strict timing, interface, and system resource constraints.
- Develop data flows and complex database queries for cloud repositories, Accumulo, and Hadoop environments.
- Automate application deployment and container orchestration using tools such as Kubernetes and Ansible.
- Serve as a technical team lead, mentoring developers and conducting quality control on team deliverables.
- Perform integration, testing, and debugging on software components while documenting results and resolving problem reports.
- Provide expertise on hardware and software trade-offs, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS integration.
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 14+ years
- Total Compensation: $310k+ yearly
