Senior Platform Engineer

Join the platform engineering team at a B2B AI software company and build the foundations that help AI products perform reliably in production. Your work will support real-time data flows, streaming responses, and LLM requests while balancing reliability, performance, and cost. What You’ll Do Integrate AI products that process data from external sources and multiple systems in real time. Route streaming responses and LLM requests across providers, with fallback and cost logic. Monitor latency, costs, and error rates, then act proactively to prevent system degradation. Use sound architectural judgment to improve system quality while keeping designs simple and maintainable. Build instrumentation and observability that surface missing signals and help diagnose complex production issues.

At least 3 years of backend engineering experience, including ownership of production platform foundations. Strong TypeScript skills and practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, APIs, queues, and caching. Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes. System design skills and the ability to reason about performance, latency, and cost trade-offs. Experience with multi-system real-time context, streaming responses, and LLM routing across providers. A track record of improving reliability and performance under production load.
