Job DescriptionLead DevOps EngineerRemote (UK Applicants Only - there will be an onsite final interview)£70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits PackLead DevOps Engineer with team leadership, Kubernetes and multi-cloud experience required by an outsourced communications services organisation. In this role you’ll take the lead of a small DevOps team, shaping how the team works, developing engineers and driving the technical direction of a growing cloud platform.This is a hands-on leadership role supporting products across AWS, Azure and GCP. You’ll provide day-to-day direction to the team, establish consistent engineering standards and help build the team’s capability, while working closely with development and infrastructure teams on resilient, cloud-native services.You’ll lead improvements across automation, GitOps, infrastructure as code and CI/CD, reducing manual effort while improving observability, SLOs, security, resilience and reliability. You’ll also act as a senior escalation point for

complex production issues and participate in the shared on-call rota.You’ll need:Significant production experience with at least two of AWS, Azure and GCPDeep production Kubernetes experienceStrong GitOps and infrastructure as code experience at scaleCI/CD pipeline automation experienceExtensive experience with declarative orchestration and configuration managementKnowledge of OWASP Top 10 CI/CD Security Risks and embedding security controls into delivery pipelinesExperience mentoring engineers, leading technical initiatives or acting as a technical leadStrong communication skills, including documenting standards and influencing engineering teamsThe package includes 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, subsidised meals, free on-site gym access, wellbeing facilities, mental health support and access to a 24/7 doctor line.Get in touch to find out more.TPBN1_UKTJ
