Junior Data Analyst Retail

As a Junior Data Analyst Retail, you support client teams with analysis, dashboards, KPI insights and data quality checks. You work with data from retail processes such as sales, customer behavior, inventory, promotions, e-commerce or supply chain and help make insights understandable for business stakeholders. At CGI, you grow by working in projects with experienced data consultants, project managers and technical specialists. How you strengthen the team

• Analyze datasets and translate findings into clear insights and visualizations.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, Tableau or comparable tooling.
• Perform basic data quality checks and document definitions, assumptions and issues.
• Support requirements, user stories, KPI definitions and stakeholder questions.
• Work with senior consultants, data engineers, business analysts and client teams.
• Contribute to presentations, workshops and analyses for retail and consumer-services clients.

Do you have experience in Tableau?, * 1-2 years of experience, internship or traineeship in data analysis, BI, business analysis or analytics.

• Solid foundation in SQL, Excel and at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
• Affinity with retail, e-commerce, supply chain, customer analytics or commercial analysis.
• Able to explain data outcomes clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Accurate, eager to learn, communicative and comfortable with client contact.
• Professional Dutch and English, or demonstrably quick to develop to that level.

We would also value

• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or demonstrable Power BI experience.
• Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900), Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) or comparable fundamentals.
• Basic Python or R for data cleaning, analysis or automation.
• Experience with KPIs such as revenue, margin, conversion, inventory, customer segments or promotion effectiveness.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or working in an agile team.
