Accounting & Interface Specifications Consultant

Support Finance and IT teams in defining, drafting, and implementing accounting interfaces by providing both business and technical expertise.

Expected Deliverables:

· Functional and technical specifications for interfaces

· Documentation of inter-system accounting flows

· Test plans and validation of developments

· Recommendations for process optimization

· Manual maintenance of accounting flows until full automation is implemented

Main Responsibilities:

· Analyze accounting requirements and inter-application flows (ERP, financial tools, third-party systems)

· Draft detailed functional and technical specifications

· Ensure data consistency and compliance with accounting standards

· Participate in workshops with Finance and IT teams

· Oversee testing and acceptance of interfaces

· Manually operate and monitor accounting flows during the transition phase to ensure continuity and accuracy until automated solutions are deployed

· Expertise in accounting (local and international standards)

· Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Exact GLOBE, or equivalent)

· Knowledge of data exchange protocols (API, EDI, XML)

· Strong writing skills and attention to detail

· Experience in project management and cross-team coordination

Desired Profile:

· Education: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems

· Experience: Minimum 5 years in accounting integration or migration projects, ideally in multi-system environments

· Personal Qualities: Strong analytical skills, autonomy, organizational ability, and capacity to manage complex situations in a project mode

· Languages: Professional proficiency in English - Knowledge of French would be an advantage.

· Plus: Experience in implementing accounting interfaces and managing manual flows prior to automation
