Embedded Software Development Engineer (f/m)

• Developing embedded real-time software in C from specification analysis to hardware validation.
• Achieving integration and verification on hardware using probes, bus analyzers, and emulators.
• Providing technical support by analyzing failure reports and answering technical requests.
• Proposing reusable, innovative software solutions and driving continuous process improvement.
• Defining, monitoring, and accepting subcontracted deliverables in compliance with management rules.

• Background in software engineering or avionics.
• Strong skills in system/processor architecture, OS, and critical real-time software development (DO178-C, DAL-A to D).
• Proficiency in C programming for embedded contexts and standard DEVOPS environments.
• Knowledge of V-cycle development processes (specification, architecture, design, coding, integration, verification).

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Embedded Software Development Engineer (f/m) to join our Avionics Software Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will join the Avionics & Simulation Products Engineering domain to design, develop, and support critical embedded products (Flight Controls, Flight Warning, Communication, Maintenance) certified DO178 DAL-A to DAL-D.
