Job description
The busiest rail connection between New York, New Jersey, and the Northeast Corridor, the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity, reliability, and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800,000 daily passengers from Washington, D.C. to New York and New England. This is a milestone project that is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding, the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history. As the PMIS Specialist; Data Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of this significant project. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PMIS data integrations, pipelines, models, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL, Python, and related tools.
- Build Power BI dashboards, semantic models, KPIs, forecasts, and executive reports for portfolio, program, and project performance.
- Integrate and reconcile data from project, financial, ERP, and operational systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and governance.
- Automate reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve decision support.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable analytics and PMIS solutions for large, complex programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience in PMIS, data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, or reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, Python, data modeling, and dashboard development.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems and applying data quality and governance practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work with PMO, project, and executive stakeholders to deliver actionable reporting.
- Experience supporting large infrastructure, transportation, utility, or similarly complex programs.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, OneLake, Power Platform, Tableau, SAP, or Dataverse.
- Knowledge of PMO, program controls, risk management, and portfolio reporting.
Benefits & conditions
The estimated starting salary for this position is $180k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
